The Growth Pantry – Privacy Policy
Written: 20 Oct 2026 by Ruth McGrath
Who we are
The Growth Pantry is a brand and category strategy consultancy run by Ruth McGrath, trading as a sole trader in the UK. We were previously known as McGrath Marketing.
This policy explains how we collect and use your personal information when you sign up to Restock, our monthly newsletter, visit our website or get in touch with us. We are the "controller" of your information, which means we decide how it is used and are responsible for looking after it.
If you have any questions, email [email protected] or write to 1 Dinnis Way, Old Sarum, SP4 6GT.
What information we collect
When you sign up to Restock, we collect:
Your first name and email address
Your company name, if you choose to give it
The topics you tell us you're interested in, if you choose to
The date and time you signed up and confirmed your consent
When you read our emails, our email platform records whether you opened them and which links you clicked. If you email us or reply to a newsletter, we keep that correspondence.
How we use it and why

Tailor content to the topics you've chosen | Your consent |

Who we share it with
We use MailerLite to run our sign-up forms, landing pages and newsletter. MailerLite stores your information on our behalf and only uses it to provide that service to us. You can read MailerLite's privacy policy.
We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
Transfers outside the UK
MailerLite is based in the EU, which the UK recognises as having adequate data protection. Where MailerLite or its suppliers process data elsewhere, they use approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.
Tracking in our emails and on our website
Our emails contain small tracking images and tracked links so we can see opens and clicks. Links to our website may also include tags that show the visit came from our newsletter. You can stop open tracking by turning off images in your email app.
Our sign-up page uses only essential cookies needed for it to work. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we don't email you again by mistake, and delete the rest within 12 months. We delete correspondence when it's no longer needed, normally within 2 years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
Ask us to delete your information
Object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
Withdraw your consent at any time
The quickest way to stop our emails is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every one. For anything else, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our new website launches. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
